First Step is proud to support International Overdose Awareness Day. This is a day that allows us to honor the families of those who have fallen to drug addiction. We can promote awareness for this plague in the U.S. Every year, thousands of people die from overdoses to illicit drugs, prescription drugs, and alcohol. This epidemic continues to get worse.
By participating in this event on August 31, 2019, we can put overdose at the center of social concern, political policies, and pharmaceutical pressure. We want everyone to have access to all of the information about every drug on the market today. We also provide support to victims and their families without reservation or judgment through our depression treatment program.
If you are looking for a way to impact your community positively, then join us on International Overdose Awareness Day 2019 this August 31st. Together, we can save lives and end addiction for many people.
